Drink for Summer, Quickly

Hi everyone!

Welcome to “Chowing with Chol”, Food of the Moment.

For this week, I’m going to take you to taste the delicious Hong Kong Milk Tea, “Quickly” Some people call it Bubble Tea, Pearl Milk Tea, Boba Milk Tea. No matter how you call it, Tapioca Milk Tea might help you get rid off your thirstiness in this summer!

There’s a huge selection of drinks and snacks. The drink items can range from tapioca milk tea drinks, to coffee, to flavored milk, to slush.

My favorite drink is “Taro Milk Tea Tapioca and Chocolate Pudding”. The Tapioca itself is ok, Egg Pudding is good and Taro Milk satisfies my craving for Asian flavor.

Don’t be surprised if you see a huge board of beverage, dessert and food menu, there are more than 400 menus for you to choose. Some people think it’s a good or a bad thing. Good because there's a ton of choices and something to satisfy every desire. Bad because there are too many choices, it's hard to make a decision.

But no worry, to get a cup of milk tea is very easy. First, you have to choose any favor of milk tea you like then choose “Add to drink” like Small tapioca, Sago, Egg pudding, Red bean, Mango star jelly etc. That’s it!

Apart from milk tea, they have everything from French Fries, to Fried Calamari, to Fish Balls, to Chicken Wings...and that's just the food!

I would like to recommend you the bite sized fried chicken, “Crispy Popcorn Chicken”. It gives you the similar taste of KFC but costs you only $3.99 and they give you large bag full.

Overall I think “Quickly” is a great spot for a quick and cheap snack. It is also a great spot to catch up with friends over drinks and snack.
